My Journey: A Divine Wake Up Call

Before the world changed, I was juggling life as a full-time Respiratory Therapy student and working part-time at a CBD skincare company. I was busy—always moving, always doing—but I wasn’t listening.

Then came the pandemic. The noise stopped. The routines disappeared. And for the first time in a long time, everything was quiet.

In that silence, God spoke.

Not in the way I expected, but through dreams—frequent, vivid, unforgettable dreams. I started sharing them with my sister Rashida, and to my surprise, many had real world connections to our family. I couldn’t ignore them. And, I didn’t want to.

That was the moment I knew I had a choice: keep going with what was safe and familiar… or answer the call. A call that felt sacred, urgent, and purposeful. That’s when Purely Gifted was born.
